A licensed attorney and certified executive coach, Neil began coaching in 1998. Previously, he was a founding partner of San Francisco-based Olson & Associates, and earlier, Olson & Douat. Before launching his own law firms, he practiced law for 11 years at Derby, Cook, Quinby & Tweedt (now Bullivant Houser Bailey PC), first as an associate and then as a partner.

Neil is the president of the Northern California Chapter of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association, and a founding member of the Renaissance Lawyer Society, a not-for-profit organization focused on alternative approaches to the practice of law.
